These are some of the pictures we took at the wedding. I liked this one of the Mizushima family being photographed by the photographer and some of the other attendees. The formal kimonos were beautiful.
This was the ceremony in the shrine. The guests were seated in two rows on each side.
The building is over 300 years old. The ceiling was spectacular.
The place settings were beautiful, and there was an amazing number of courses - more than I could count. We drank the sake out of the wooden box.
Troy with Hidemi and his brother:
On the weekend after the wedding we had a lovely family gathering at the Mizushima's to reminisce and spend more time with the beautiful Yoko and her wonderful fiancé, Omar, who live in Florida.
Ushio and Fumi cutting the cake:
Hidemi's dessert from the sweet shop:
The wedding reception sign was made in the fashion of a 60's album cover. Fumi wore her mother's vintage dress and gloves in the photo.
